Bert is the chairman of the NLJUG board. He works at OpenValue Rotterdam as a co-owner and has been active in the Information and Technology sector for over 20 years. A few years ago, Bert established a Java unit and wanted to increase its visibility within the Java community. To achieve this, he started working closely with NLJUG. Through this collaboration, he became interested in NLJUG’s way of working and wanted to contribute himself. Since 2009, Bert has been a member of the NLJUG board. He represents NLJUG’s interests within the international Java community.
